Has someone in your neighbourhood achieved outstanding things this year?
Does someone in your community strive to make the lives of others better, for little or no reward?
If you know a City of Logan resident deserving of recognition, now is the time to share their story.
Nominations for Logan City Council’s 2023 Australia Day Awards are open.
Mayor Darren Power said Council is seeking extraordinary people who have gone above and beyond for, or in the name of, the City of Logan.
“Every year, our Australia Day Awards are our opportunity to thank those who have inspired us and kept our city thriving,” Cr Power said.
“Past winners have proven that there are some amazing people across our city who for one reason or another, fly under the radar in terms of recognition.
“Whether these people are community service champions or simply high achievers in their field, we want to know about them.
Nominees aged 27 years or under on Australia Day (January 26) are eligible for the Young Person of the Year award, which is presented for outstanding contributions to the community.

Nominations close on Wednesday, November 30.
