Spotlight On Grassroots Community Groups

Riverton’s Inaugural Community Grants Program Launched

Riverton at Jimboomba today announced the launch of its biannual Community Grants program.
AVJennings, as part of its commitment to creating and supporting a thriving local community is looking to help local groups and individuals with grants between $500 and $3,000.
The Riverton Community Grants Program aims to support local, grassroots community groups,
sporting organisations and other charitable causes, by providing funding where it’s needed most.

AVJennings’ Marketing Executive for Riverton, Madelaine Tiscia said “We are excited to be offering this opportunity to members of our community. Through this program we hope to share stories and shine a spotlight on groups and organisations who are doing great work in the local area. Supporting them with funding, and helping these groups grow is something we look forward to contributing to.”
In the last 6 months alone, Riverton has sponsored several local initiatives such as the Jimboomba
Christmas Carols by JC Family Church, Jimboomba Cricket Club’s Pink Stumps Day for the McGrath
Foundation, a Personal Safety Workshop with Jimboomba State School students by Bravehearts, plus
the construction and sale of the Renee 6 Charity Home at Riverton with proceeds of the sale going to
the Steve Waugh Foundation. Now, through its thriving community of Riverton, AVJennings will deliver funding where it’s needed most and encourages all eligible community groups to apply!
