International Women’s Day celebrations saw hundreds gather at Kingston Butter Factory for the 2023 Wonderful Women of Waterford awards ceremony.
The annual event, hosted by Attorney-General and Minister for Women Shannon Fentiman, recognised the outstanding achievements of women from across the City of Logan.
This year’s award nominees included female volunteers and women who have made significant contributions in the fields of education, health, business and politics.
Ms Fentiman described the calibre of this year’s recipients as inspirational.
“Today we celebrate and recognise the achievements and efforts of so many incredible women in our community”.
“Women who work with our most vulnerable, leaders who inspire the next generation and young advocates who promote inclusivity and uplift the women around them”.
“This is one of my favourite events of the year” she said.
