“Make The World A Better Place!”

YSSC Year 8 Shark Tank Business Solutions …

Year 8 Students at Yarrabilba State Secondary College were given the challenge to create a business on the theme, “Make the world a better place”.

In September they showcased their business ideas at a Shark Tank event.  It was a pleasure to see the stands of students who had created displays of their solution to the theme.

Students like Rose and Grace from “Eco Amigos,” with their outstanding display of jewellery made from sea glass (glass polished by the sea).  Also, Grace and Austyn from “Time to Chat,” who had used their personal experience to create a support service for children with a relative with cancer.  And Zoe, from “Big-Hearted Blobs,” who had taught herself to sew squishy stress balls with cheerful faces.
