New Childcare Opens In Yarrabilba

Opening Day A Child’s Wonderland

The new Harmony Early Learning Centre opened in Yarrabilba with a lavish event on Saturday 11th September. There were food vans, a coffee cart, bubble making, face painting, balloon modelling and delicious treats.

The real star though was the centre itself. Guests small and big wandered through the beautifully decorated rooms where staff waited to answer questions, or just play with children. Harmony designs their centres to allow the imagination of children to flourish and there was a wealth of objects to explore in the indoor and outdoor play areas.

Councillor Laurie Koranski opened the centre, cutting the ribbon with Centre Director Alice Kamsaengsai and Operations Support Manager Jamie Longie. Alice lives in and loves the community of Yarrabilba. She has assembled a team as diverse as the community itself. Local parents had waited for months for the new centre to open and were excited about their
children beginning their Harmony Early Learning Journey.
