About Your Instructor
Renata was born in Brazil, a mum of three beautiful girls and has been teaching Bellydance classes in Logan for the past 14 years. She is also a qualified Dietitian and Physical education instructor.

“Dance has always been part of my life from a young age.” Renata says, she has danced from Ballet and Jazz to styles like Flamenco, Latin dance, African, Cuban Salsa dance and Bellydance. She has a passion for teaching her classes and helping women to re-discover themselves through dance.

“Seeing the restoration of femininity and the increasing levels of confidence within the participants has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my teachings.” Renata said. The art of Bellydance is recognised for empowering women throughout history and as the participants become more aware of
their movements, posture improves as well as their fitness, coordination, balance, rhythm and flexibility. Without mention the benefits for the emotional and social aspect gained from being able to dance with others in a group.
