Student Leaders Visit Brisbane

During the Anzac week, at Logan Village State School, students and staff have shown their commitment to this national commemoration by observing Anzac Day through participation in several events.

On Friday 23 April, the entire school united in the school’s annual Anzac Day service. School leaders led the proceedings which included speeches and poems and the laying of wreaths at the school’s own ANZAC memorial.

On the previous day, student leaders Harriet, Tia, Justin and Paige accompanied Principal Mr Cramb to ANZAC Square in Brisbane to participate in the 2021 ANZAC Commemoration Ceremony for students. Included in the official guests at this event was His Excellency The Governor of Queensland the Hon. Paul de Jersey AC. The students joined representatives from schools across south east Queensland and laid a wreath on behalf of Logan Village State School at the Shrine of Remembrance.

In addition, on Anzac Day, the student leaders represented the school once more at the Logan Village Dawn Service.
