Matt Of Logan Village Falcons Is Volunteer Of The Week
CANNON LOGISTICS VOTE 1 – With us celebrating National Volunteer Week, we’re acknowledging those volunteers who contribute to the smooth running of their clubs and the game with our Cannon Logistics Volunteer of the Week.
Today’s volunteer is Matthew Lewis from Logan Village Falcons All Sports.
As described by his nomination, “His official title is Club President but his duties stretch from maintaining and mowing the fields, to line marking them before the weekend and to all the general maintenance around the club.”
“On senior match days he is down early to make sure the fields are perfect before helping in the canteen. You can also find him refereeing MiniRoos and junior games when required.”
“We’ve heard many volunteers say they ‘feel like they live at the club’ but Matt Lewis honestly takes that to another level.”
