New Yarrabilba Community Hub ‘The Buzz’ Unveiled …
A new community space called ‘The Buzz at Yarrabilba’ has been delivered by Logan City Council in partnership with the Queensland Government, Lendlease and Brisbane Catholic Education. City Lifestyle Chair and Division 4 Councillor Laurie Koranski said The Buzz would allow the community to further connect. “It will offer the fast-growing Yarrabilba community a space where they can learn, earn, connect, and innovate as well as gain access to improved education and employment opportunities,” Cr Koranski said.
“The Palaszczuk Government will provide $230,000 funding per year to operate the new centre as part of our record $51.8 million uplift over four years to Neighbourhood and Community Centres right across Queensland,” Minister for Communities and Housing Leeanne Enoch MP said.
