5FOLD Launches Website For Community!
Yarrabilba’s new charity, 5FOLD, has launched their website! You can visit 5fold.org.au to check out more of who they are and what they do. As a collective team of people who opened their doors in Yarrabilba in December 2021, they are focused on providing assistance to the community in a holistic way.
“We are just a bunch of everyday people wanting to be here for our community. We want to see people thrive and be the healthiest and happiest version of themselves”. Said director and founder Melinda Hartley. “We want to provide a hand up instead of a hand out to people and walk through tough times with them as a source of support and encouragement. We are a centrepoint for our community and want to let people know we are here. Developing individuals and families are important to us because we know strong families create strong communities”.
Currently the 5FOLD team help with emergency relief, budgeting, run Yarrabilba Breakfast Clubs over 4 locations as well as a over 50’s social group, give $5 haircuts and provide JP services. You can even drop in for a free coffee or tea and chat or check out their op shop.
5FOLD is a private not for profit charity who rely on the partnerships from within its community so it can continue the work they do. You can make a donation through their website at 5fold.org.au/donate or by visiting their shop at 23 Shaw Street, Yarrabilba.
