Special Little Winter Treats!

Little Helpers For Your ‘Inner-Doctor’ …

Cold wintery days, winds that cut right through you – time for those little special treats to help your immune system deal with cooler months.

Hot Toddy to drink: (been around for centuries with many variations of Brandy, Cinnamon, Rum and even sugar) but for this little helper, for your inner-doctor, is a winner ever time! Let’s keep it simple and achievable.

1 cup of boiled water then add

1 teaspoon of honey (from local Beekeeper)

½ a lemon – squeeze the juice (home grown if possible)

Tweak this mug of joy to your own taste buds, you may want more honey and less lemon or visa-versa. Stir, then gently sip whilst resting. You can make this drink even when you are not sick. It’s a great alternative to an early morning hot beverage, rather than coffee or tea.

Try to sit in the sun for at least 10mins per day, so the body can absorb Vitamin D from the sun. This is even suited to the younger generation, but please do not give straight honey to children under the age of 3 years.

Feeling dehydrated and skin is a little tight? Then you need to add water to your diet. Yes, it’s hard to drink water in winter, but even if you drink some that’s better than none. Hydration is the elixir of life.

Please maintain your regular skincare routine of cleansing, toning and moisturising as these damaging winds will just suck the life out of your skin and you will need to replace that all important moisture and hydrate.

Take a peek in our Clearance sale collections on our website, we have been making all sorts of serums, moisturisers, masks and exfoliants to move along our old packaging.
