Beenleigh Cane Parade Holds Sweet Events
The return of the Beenleigh Cane Parade & Gala Ball in October was sweeter than ever! Locals joined the events for a real dose of community spirit while enjoying the sweeter things in life! Rotary Club of Beenleigh President-Elect Heather Kucks said ‘This event has long been on our list of great community events to bring back, and we’re thrilled to finally have the opportunity to bring this back to the Beenleigh community’.
The morning saw the heart of Beenleigh come alive with floats, groups and bands making their way through our streets in the Beenleigh Cane Parade much to the delight of excited onlookers.
As the sun set over the local cane fields, the Beenleigh Event Centre opened their doors for a feast for the senses. The Gala Ball offered the finest of all things local, along with a chance to dust off the dancing shoes for some sweet moves!
No sugar coating needed, the Rotary Club of Beenleigh was proud to show off their town, community, spirit and hearts! The events were held in partnership with the Logan City Council.
