St Clare’s school welcomed the Fathers and Father figures from their community for a special liturgy to celebrate Father’s Day. The Year 1 students led the community in prayer as together they gave thanks and praise for Fathers young and old, those who have lost children, those no longer with us and those men who are not Fathers, yet mentor and guide us with fatherly love and advice.
It was wonderful to see so many Fathers that were able to take time out of their busy schedules to attend. Students love to be able to share these moments with their Fathers and were keen to pose for photos afterwards.
