KRANK Kickstarted For School Holidays!

Knee-Boarding for KRANK School Holiday Fun

Teens on target for KRANK school holiday fun

Logan City Council’s popular KRANK school holiday program returns for the school holidays with the program featuring fun outdoor and indoor activities especially for teens.

Youth activities, for those aged 12 to 17, include knee boarding, freestyle BMX, cooking classes and macramé and jewellery workshops.

A range of activities for children aged 5 to 11 are also available but some are already near booking capacity.

All activities are free or low-cost.

KRANK was suspended for the last two school holidays but Council has been able to kickstart the program again by introducing enhanced safety and social distancing measures.

All activities and providers will have COVID-Safe plans in place, in line with Queensland Health guidelines.

City Lifestyle Committee Chair, Councillor Laurie Koranski said the return of the KRANK school holiday program was another step forward in the city’s recovery from the effects of the pandemic.

“Our KRANK program is always popular and books out very quickly so it will be great to see it back these school holidays,” Cr Koranski said.

“It caters to a wide variety of interests and the activities are free or low-cost which is important for many families these days.”

“We ask people to register because some spaces are limited.

“Booking early is the best way to ensure your teen doesn’t miss out on the fun.”

The KRANK school holiday program will run from Saturday, September 19 to Sunday, October 4.

Bookings are open now and an online activity guide is available for each day.
