The Fathering Project
This project has recently started connecting with Yarrabilba dads with a program that better equips all fathers and father figures to be a role-model, guide and positive influences in their child’s life. They plan to provide father and child experiences, activities and educational resources, through schools to create self-supporting fathering groups of champion dads.

REKON Youth
The REKON Yarra Youth project has been busy through Term 1 with youth workers and arts facilitators delivering free workshops and programs for the youth in Yarrabilba.
The DJ workshop is designed to get young people behind the decks to learn what it takes to be a professional DJ; the music production workshops have given young people the opportunity to learn how to create a song from scratch in just a few sessions; and the Graffiti Art workshop guides young people through the process of creating a striking ‘Street-Style’ mural, from conceptualising to spray painting.
