Yarrabilba Jobs Exchange Achieves 1000 Employment Outcomes Milestone
Diana and the team at Yarrabilba Jobs Exchange (YJE) were thrilled to reach the milestone of 1000 employment outcomes in February. Since opening in late 2016, the team have met countless Yarrabilba locals, securing job placements in a variety of fields from administration to landscaping to retail, finance, construction and more.
One client, Trish, who along with her husband Danny has been with YJE since 2016, recently responded to a vacancy for a Custodial Officer. Trish was successful after a stringent recruitment process and has commenced her 10-week training at the Queensland Correctional Academy.
Not just for active job seekers, Diana develops and delivers local training programs. The most recent being a ‘Plan Your Life’ five-session program, aimed at people who want to create a plan on how to apply for work, change job direction and receive support on achieving success in the labour market. The program is open to all age groups and is individually targeted.
